"Hoppy Swimming"
John and I decided to get John Luke's frog pool out and see how he liked it. I was hesitant to let him swim since he has had a runny nose and cough for the past week but I gave in. It was plenty warm enough outside! I think the cold water just about took his breath away at first but he quickly got used to it and seemed to love it until... he saw a TRACTOR! (He calls everything a tractor. It was actually the backhoe). John had been using it for something this week and it was still parked in our yard so when John Luke turned around and spotted it, the swimming was over. He LOVES to ride on anything if its outside! So we all piled on the "tractor" and went for a ride. It is definitely not meant to have more than one person riding. I was hanging off the side, literally, and then John let me hold John Luke in the seat which was much more comfortable! But he had a great time and we had fun watching him steer and pull the bucket up and down. Isn't it strange how now everything your children do is funny and entertaining whereas before kids we would have thought it was boring?!! Boy, how life changes!!!

WE'RE BACK!!
I am finally back! It seems like it's been forever. My computer was totally ruined by viruses but thanks to someone who has much more computer knowledge than me, we are back in business. These are some pictures of things that the Colvin Family has been doing lately-starting with the most recent. Hopefully we will be good to go now and can keep in touch with everyone!
Montgomery Zoo
Apparently the giraffes were extremely funny!
Mother's Day. This was the only way I could get a picture with my son on Mother's Day. He wasn't going to slow down for such nonsense! We ate lunch at Open Pond with the family. (Yes, same dress-it's so comfortable and cool!) (I didn't realize my shirt was so low until I had this picture on here. Sorry!)
Please excuse granny's tooth. She has gotten it fixed now-Thank God! She looks like a true hillbilly!!!
This is Will (John's granny's husband ). He's not much bigger than a flea so he is the perfect size to get down on the floor with John Luke and play. He had a BLAST playing with Papa. When we left he fell asleep in less than 2 minutes. He was worn out!
One day I was in the kitchen cooking supper and John Luke had been in his favorite spot under the cabinet just playing as usual. I had walked into the laundry room to get some clothes and he came around the corner carrying this cake cover. The thing is about as big as he is. Now we say "Bring daddy a cake" and he will go get this and bring it to him.
