Sweet Addition

I know most of you have seen all of Ashley's pictures of this sweet little man, but I wanted to share some too. I thought the ones of John Luke with Mrs. Ashley were precious! He climbed up there in that bed with her and was so sweet! There is no doubt he remembers Mrs. Ashley!!! {Doesn't she look great?!!}Congratulations to Walker, Ashley, and Sawyer!! Eli is precious and Sawyer is a sweet big brother!

18 Months Old!

This little sweet stinker is 18 months old today! It is hard to believe!!!

Pro-Life vs. Pro-Abortion

This morning Dr. James Dobson with Focus On The Family shared some appalling information about Barrack Obama's plan for the unborn. Dr. Dobson's guest was Dr. Robert George of Princeton University who discussed his recent article: Obama's Abortion Extremism. Please take the time to read this article. It is amazing! Obama claims to be pro-choice,{which is bad enough} but the TRUTH is he is the most extreme pro-abortionist to ever run for the presidency. He is adamantly against preserving the most fragile and vulnerable life--that of the unborn child.
"Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward." Psalms 127:3
"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works"... Psalms 139:14"

Interpreting A Woman's Words

These are so true for myself! How about you??!!!! It's funny to read these and think about how often I actually say them! Poor John!!!!!!!!!!!

Interpreting A Woman's Words:
FINE
this is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

FIVE MINUTES
If she is getting dressed, this is half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given 5 more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

NOTHING
This is the calm before the storm. This means "something," and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with 'Nothing' usually end in "Fine"

GO AHEAD
This is a dare, not permission. Don't do it.

THAT'S OKAY
This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

THANKS
A woman is thanking you. Do not question it or faint. Just say you're welcome.

The truth is the TRUTH!

I was looking at Darby's blog {a friend of Ashley's. I hope she doesn't mind me stalking her blog!} this afternoon and got a good laugh from her post today. Just a few minutes later, I checked my e-mails and got this from my sister Amy. I couldn't pick just one, so I put them all on here. Maybe I won't stir up as much controversy as Darby did... {or if I do, that's fine too!} Go check out her blog, and be sure to read the comments!!!

His Daddy Would Die...

but he's not here and I think it's funny! He applied this all by himself while his mama was on the computer!

Talking to Mamy {Aunt Amy}. Amy called and she was trying to get him to talk to her on the phone. He is usually not real excited about chatting on the phone, he's more into pushing the buttons. But this time he wanted to tell her something. He was sitting on the couch just like a big boy having a "grown-up" conversation. I'm not sure she knew what they were talking about~

I know so many of you have seen and recommended this movie, but I wanted to say y'all were RIGHT!!! This movie is so worth your time and money!! John and I had a DATE last night and it was AWESOME! We went shopping, to the theatre to watch Fireproof, and then to eat at my most favorite place, Olive Garden! I had the most fun just hanging out with my husband! Thanks Nan and Pop for babysitting!

Do You Remember Any of These?

I had the rare opportunity to watch a little T.V. tonight {it is rare that I get to watch anything for several reasons: I don't take the time, I don't have the time, My husband is in full control of the remote, & I'm really not a T.V. watcher}. Anyway, tonight I had some time by myself. So I sat down and as I was flipping through the channels, I came across something that made me have a sudden flashback to my childhood years... "The Cosby Show"! I LOVED/LOVE the "Huxtable Family"!! So I decided I would sit and watch a couple of episodes. As I was watching, I started remembering all the shows I watched as a child growing up and I realized "they just don't make 'em like that anymore"! I got on the computer and found a few. Just listening to the opening credits brings back such wonderful memories!!!
**Turn off the playlist to hear each one.

I have a feeling that when I do start sewing, I will create a masterpiece similar to this...

Perfect Strangers

Family Ties

Whos The Boss

Mr. Belvedere

Growing Pains

Alf

The A-Team

Magnum P.I.

Doogie Howser, M.D.

Newhart

And ofcourse, The Dukes of Hazzard!

Man, those were good shows!

"A Sneak Peek"

Laundry, Laundry, Laundry! Does it ever end?! I feel like that's all I've been doing today, and there's only 3 of us!!! {Thankfully, I don't have to do it like this poor lady in the picture! Although, I would love to have a clothesline}.

I couldn't resist getting a sneak peek of this cute stinker in his Halloween costume!{Minus his little booties}. I can't wait to see him all dressed up with his pumpkin full of candy!!!

**It has not clicked in my head until just now that this costume is supposed to be a Dalmation puppydog, and the fabric is cowprint...Hmmmm?! I guess he could be a cow with floppy ears! Oh well, he's still cute as a bug!!!!!!
