Little Buddies/Sweet Boys

Yesterday, John Luke and I had the wonderful opportunity to go visit our "old" friends Ashley and Sawyer. When we got there, these two boys picked up right where they left off. As soon as they saw each other, they started running and playing and did not stop except for a very short nap. I have never seen John Luke play with another child like he did with Sawyer. He LOVED it! Too bad they can't play everyday! And just think, there will be another sweet boy to add to the fun before long! (I asked Ashley if she was sure she was pregnant b/c I could NOT tell by looking!)

I must say... I enjoyed visiting as much as John Luke. I am soooo thankful for my friend Ashley! What a joy she is to hang out with! Thank you Ashley for having us over to your home (a new, beautiful home at that). We sure do miss you guys! We must do this more often!!!

I wasn't able to get any good pictures of the boys. They were TOO BUSY to catch! Maybe next time.

A Pretty LITTLE Girl!

Isn't she so pretty and LITTLE?!! When I picked her up I almost threw her right over my shoulder! She is so tiny. I guess I was just used to picking up John Luke. She is so long and skinny. If you look closely in the last picture you can see her long toes. They are JUST like her mama's!! But she is precious and we had a good time visiting with she and Stacey. So...Stacey, here are the pictures. I didn't know when we would see you guys again. We had fun!

Where Is John Luke?

In the dishwasher. I came out of the bedroom and found him here.

In the beach toy wagon.

Where is my flip flop?

He loves to carry my flip flops around. Why? I do not know but I have been finding them in strange places.

And... these are a few I took while we were playing with the water hose yesterday. I love this face!

Father's Day Part 2

I thought this picture was so precious. John Luke woke up very early this particular morning and I decided we would try getting in the recliner. He fell back asleep with me (or so I thought. I know I did!) John got the camera when he got up and took this picture. I guess John Luke had just been laying there awake with me as happy as could be.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO THE PAPAS!!

Happy Father's Day!

I guess this post should be dedicated to John:

About 4 years ago, my life was changed. Not just for a short time, but forever. God gave me a gift, and it was you. Thank you for being so helpful, supportive, and for loving me unconditionally.
Then, soon after, we were both given another gift. I couldn't dream of a better daddy in all the world! You have been fantastic from day one! John Luke and I are fortunate to have you! Thank You and WE LOVE YOU!! Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all fathers!

These are some older pictures that I took of John Luke and Amy Garner one day when Kimberly brought Amy over to play. Right after this, my computer crashed and I never did get to post these. When I took the pictures, I told Amy I would put them on my blog page and she has NOT forgotten about that promise! (After I told her she would be on the blogspot, everytime I took a picture she would smile and pose so pretty for me. It was the other one that wouldn't cooperate!) So... after a LONG wait, here they are!

Okay, so John Luke does get to do fun things after all! He actually does this about every other day... but that is a-okay with him (and with Papa). He LOVES it!!! I thought I should post proof that I am maybe not the worst mama in the world. I really don't make my one year old clean all day, everyday!!

"Mr. Clean"

And now we shall vacuum.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?! I know some people think this is all we do everyday and that John Luke doesn't ever get to play but I promise we do actually do fun things! I guess the verse in Proverbs applies here: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." He's gonna have one clean house!!
