Update! Finally!!!

It's been a long time since I blogged! I have been a slacker---BIG time! I guess when we all got sick and John went to Canada, I got out of my routine and have not gotten back into the swing of things! But maybe everything will get back to normal soon.

I have enjoyed the Christmas blogs with the festive music, although I can't say I am quite ready for Christmas myself. I love the season, I just can't get into the "spirit" just yet! I changed my blog background so maybe that will be some motivation! I have got absolutely no Christmas shopping done. I thought I did one day, but instead of waiting for Christmas, I have been wearing my gifts and I let John Luke wear his!!! I am terrible about that!

These are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks...

Praise the Lord this man is home!!! I missed him soooooo much and so did his little man! Since his return this is what John Luke does EVERY time he starts to go anywhere. Even if it's just to the other room!!

We made a quick trip to Troy one day and stopped by to see the aunties. Unfortunately Aunt Amy was in class, but we got to see Aunt Kimberly for a short visit.

I thought this was too funny! A sign Kimberly made and hung on her wall to remind her to "not get fat"!!!!!!! If only it were that easy!!!

This has been our favorite toy lately...yes the "bubble car" inside because "it's just too darn cold outside for women and children" as John says. Especially after having a virus, and then an ear infection, and then a fever for several days, and now a cough and stuffy nose!!! We have been locked up inside for years it seems like! {Notice how he has his leg kicked over the side...he got that straight from his granny and nan!}

I walked in the room one day and found this. I thought it was so cute!

If we do go outside, this is our attire.

And finally, I have been meaning to put this on here. John Luke's first kiss!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Glad you're back. Jack has that car too and he rides it in the living room. We call it the Mr. Magoo car and he loves it! Cute kiss there!!

OMG!!! I can't believe you put that picture of me on here and my sign! That is placed in my BEDROOM on purpose!! And just to make it clear for everyone... I had just got done working out and my hair was sweaty and greasy! So if you were wondering... Yes I take bathes! I enjoyed our very quick visit and all the sweet sugar I got from my little man! I love yall!

P.S. You need to put some Christmas music on here so I can listen to it at work and while I'm cleaning my room.
Love, Aunt Kimberly

I know you've seen that same car here at our house. Jeremy and I both agree that every kid in America must have that car. We see it at a lot of homes when we pass by on the road. :) It is worth it's money with JP. HE LOVES IT! He'll pull himself up on the back(not in it) of the car and takes off down the slope of our garage and doesn't put on the breaks(his feet) until it stops itself when it hits the grass after speeding across the paved driveway. He laughs the entire way and I cringe at the thought of it tipping over and hurting himself....but boys will be boys, right?

I'm glad that y'all are feeling better. AND, WOW what a KISS! They'll love that when they are older. My parents have one of me and Jamie Luckey (as toddlers) kissing. TOO FUNNY! (Wonder if Jamie has ever seen it...???)

Glad everyone is feeling better. You are not alone I can't find the spirit either. I surely can't right now b/c I have a bad case of something (bronchitis or something). John Luke's first kiss is just to sweet.

I am glad to hear ya'll are feeling better! Don't feel bad about the wonderful cough and stuffy nose. I am wondering if we will ever get over that part! We have a car like J.L's that lives in our house also, the only difference is ours is a convertible. Some days I am ready to throw that thing outback. Now Anna talks Emily into letting her push and they fly through the house hitting walls and taking out toes!!
I can't seem to get into the christmas spirit either. I don't think Jason would mind if I didn't because HE ABSOULUTELY HATES HANGING LIGHTS AND DIGGING IN THE ATTIC!! I hope you stay in the swing of things, because I missed your updates!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Hey Beth! Your family is beautiful! I don't know if I have even seen your son since he was LITTLE. I look forward to catching up with you. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Hey Beth! I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. That new picture on top of your blog is very pretty but check out your "man hand". I know that it is John's but it looks like that big old hand is yours. It is so funny. With your skinny little arm and then that giant hand. Look at it and see if you notice. Will actually pointed it out to me.

Rebecca,
I know! I noticed that when I put it on here, but I didn't have another one to use right then and I was out of time at the moment! It looks like the man on Happy Gilmore!!!!

Well you actually would have thought the photographer would have noticed the "man hand" and she normally probably would have but she had lots of extra "things" to be paying attention to like, oh...I dunno, JOHN LUKE MAYBE????? Geez that little boy does not like to get his picture made!! He wants his NAN!!! Anywho, maybe we can play catch phrase again so Brian can call us Dimbo's again!! I think we all got more laughs from him calling us that than playing the games!!!! I told Amy even if it is after Christmas that would be great with me, even if we have to wait until after the 25th. Brian will be done with school the 19th. So I know he will be less stressed then but that is so close to the 25th I dunno if we will be able to fit it in??!? Anyway, I can't wait. Do you still want to do it here?? Maybe we can nail down a date soon! Now that I have written a book, I will say goodbye and take care of your "man hand" and "hard picture taker!!" :)
Love,
Dawn

So.......when is John Luke going to get a little bro or sis? ;) You are probably going to get tired of me asking!

I almost choked when I saw that camo outift you have JL in. I have the SAME ONE in pink for Kady. We wore it to Gatlinburg. Papa Larry bought it for her at Bass Pro Shop
