This is what John Luke was doing as I was trying to take a picture of him with his first Christmas tree.

John Luke is always the most precious to me when he is sleeping. I just want to squeeze him to death(not literally). His little face is absolutely adorable! I know I'm just a tad bit partial but aren't we all about our precious ones?!

Learning Young

The Bass Pro Shop is John's favorite place to go. I think he could find something in there he "needs" even if he went every day of the year. John Luke will probably have the same "disease" if his daddy has anything to do with it!

Christmas Parade

Last night was our town Christmas Parade. We had made plans to go watch but I sure did not know how many factors go into this parade ordeal. I think we changed our meeting place 3 times before we figured out the perfect spot and I believe we did end up in a good place. Our sweet friend Ben had saved us a place at his business and it worked out well. I said I was a newcomer to this parade business and was going to have to learn the ropes.

The kids had a good time but did not necessarily want their picture taken. We tried to get a good one of all four but they wouldn't all cooperate at the same time. The picture in the back of the truck is: Caroline, John Luke, Sawyer, and Maggie Ruth.

The sisters (and Jackson) even came by to hang out with us for a little bit. We tried to eat afterwards but I think everyone in Andalusia had the same idea so every restaurant we tried was packed out. Sorry sisters! We'll try again another time!

Santa Baby

"Mini Santa"... I love this little outfit. I actually bought it when I was still pregnant and to my surprise it is almost too little. I got it out one day last week and put it on him. Thankfully I did because it is snug. John says it is horrible and told John Luke that he promised he would not ever have to wear anything like that again. (He says that about almost all of John Luke's clothes but I say as long as he's small enough for me to dress him I'm going to have fun!) He wouldn't look at me -what a surprise- but it has a little belt buckle and a santa hat. I forgot to put his hat on for the picture.

Playing With Daddy

John came home from hunting Saturday morning and John Luke acted like he had been gone for years! He crawled all over John and loved and played. He is certainly happy when he's got daddy around. I think he knows who will do WHATEVER he wants!!
