I actually won & rainy day entertainment

I won a blog giveaway!!!   I am so excited!   Apparently I should try this more often...As far as I can remember I've never won anything and now I've won two blog-giveaways!!   I'm one of those that everytime I walk by a booth that has "sign-up and win a free trip to Hawaii for 7 days and a new car!", I'm there!   And I'm not just signing myself up I'm writing everybody's name down I know!

The first time I won some awesome Clinique lipstick that, yes you guessed it, I've just about used it up already.   You know I love my lipstick;)

This time I won a $50 Lisa Leonard gift certificate.   The funny thing is, I just told my sister I wanted a Lisa Leonard necklace and told her to pass the word along to John for Mother's Day.   How cool!

It won't take me long, I already know exactly what I want....

And there's lots more I'd chose as well.....maybe another giveaway? :-)

On a rainy Saturday, what else in the world is there to do except:
  • wake up early
  • throw on some boots {with our pj's}
  • leave mama in bed to snooze :-)
  • jump in the minivan with daddy
  • run through the Burger King drive-thru for cini-minis and hashrounds
  • go to Wal-Mart
  • shop til' we drop for whatever our heart's desire
  • buy another gun {by all means. we can never have too many}
  • come home
  • give mama some Diet Coke, cini-minis, and hashrounds
  • set up a coke bottle for a target
  • sit on the patio and shoot our gun until the rain stops
  • draw pretty pictures with the sidewalk chalk {daddy's are the best}
  • spend the rest of the sunny day doing what we do best....hanging out together- outside!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I survey the wonderous cross, on which the Prince of Glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss, And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it Lord, that I should boast, Save in the death of Christ, my God;
All the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to His blood.

See from His head, His hands, His feet, Sorrow and love flow mingled down;
Did e'er such love and sorrow meet, Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Were the whole realm of nature mine, That were a present far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine, Demands my soul, my life, my all.
