Saturday/Sunday Confessions

1.  This hot {dry} weather totally stinks. I can't keep my flowers, grass or garden alive. Our water bill was sky high and everything still looks parched. We keep debating on saying to heck with it, but I just can't bring myself to giving up. Ugghh! Please Lord, let it rain!

2.  The hot weather is keeping us inside way more than we are liking. My kiddos are going crazy in this house, therefore so am I.

3.  Swimming lessons are really shocking me. I knew it was going to be pretty awesome what they learned just from watching the videos, but when I see it in person, and it's my children out there, it's super cool. I can't wait to see what they are able to do in 2 more weeks!

4.  In the 5 day a week drive to swimming lessons, I've learned a few things: a. Don't ever, ever speed on the back roads to Opp. You will most assuredly see a cop. 100% of the time. b. I can sing every Cedarmont Kids song ever made. c. I can almost quote "Leave it to Cleaver" {Leave it to Beaver}. John Luke makes up his own names for things.) d. My van is a moving trash dumpster. e. Kids are way demanding.

5.  My 3 children, I mean my 2 children and husband, get the biggest thrill out of  a $1 whoopee cushion. {John Luke calls it a whooshee cushion}. I must say I have laughed my tail off with them;)

6.  Finding sweet, polite, kind-hearted children is almost impossible in this day and time. But this precious girl is definitely all of those things.... Thanks Riley Grace for hanging out with us. I know Allie Beth was loving having you around and so did I!

{I love Riley's face in this one:)}

7.  Getting dressed up all pretty is fun. But, whew! A lot of work too!

8.  My cheeks look like 2 apples sitting on my face.

9.  Last week was my big grocery shopping week... I saved $90 with my coupons! I was so excited! I 've been watching Extreme Couponing and I've been inspired by others I've talked to. I had my faithful sidekick {John} with me or I would have never been able to do it! And the best part is---no mean old hags, and no dress mishaps:)

10.  I got a new shag rug for my living room. We love it. I'm sure it will look like it's been drug through the mud in a few days, but I'm enjoying it right now!

11.  Hallelujah! I think I see rain!!!!!

My lands girl, your cheeks are not apples! You are beautiful and your kids are ADORABLE (even if they do trash a van & demand the world.... I so understand that!)

I hope you had a lovely weekend, you look fabulous all dressed up. I could do with making the effort a little more often, but it does require extra time.
