Nan's Birthday
John Luke and all the girls. What kind of face is that? Looks like he's saying,"Not again." Aunt Amy and John Luke...
Sisters...
All pooped out.
January 27th was Mama's (Nan) birthday. I cooked lunch and everyone came over to eat with us. Yes, everyone in our little trailer home. I guess the song is right- love grows best in little houses, fewer walls to seperate; where you eat and sleep so close together, you can't help but communicate; if we had more room between us, think of all we'd miss, love grows best in houses just like this. Boy, is that true around here!! Anyway, Nan turned 53 and like Kimberly said she looks half her age! John Luke also turned 9 months old on Nan's birthday. Of course we had a good time and like usual John Luke entertained everyone until he just couldn't do another trick! (As you see in the last picture).

Daddy's New Trick
John has been teaching John Luke to take what he has in his mouth out and put in John Luke's mouth. That sounds confusing with all the Johns. Anyway, they exchange their food with their mouths. Kinda disgusting! This is what they were doing the other night when I came home from AWANA. John Luke thinks it is the funniest thing! (John does too!)

"Uh, Oh!"
"I'm gonna need a mirror."
"Some mascarra..."
"And I think this brush is the perfect size."
This is what I was talking about earlier!! Just a minute ago I was putting on my make-up and I ran to grab some clothes out of the dryer. When I returned, this is what I found my son doing! He loves getting everything out of my bag. Oh well, I hope he will eventually lose interest!!
"What's In Here?"
"Let's get a closer look."
This is the look I got when I called his name. "Maybe I'm not supposed to do this."
And then... Does it get any sweeter?!
I was checking my e-mails this morning and John Luke was in the room with me but he was behind me. This is John's gun cabinet and it happens to be in the same room. Well, when I turned around to check on him this is what he was doing. John usually tells him no because he is afraid he may pull it over on top of himself. I just couldn't say anything. I had to get a picture. John will be proud that he is interested in something "manly" because he seems to like my purse and my make-up bag more than anything in the world! John is very worried! This should help his feelings!

Baby Dedication
Today we had our baby dedication at church. John Luke did very well to be 8 months old and sit in church for an hour and a half without being able to get down and wander around. I was very proud of him. We had a big crowd for the occasion. John Luke had his faithful supporters there to be a part of the special event. As parents promising to lead and guide him using God's standards, it is encouraging to know that we have the support of both our family and church family. It is very important to me that those who will have an influence in John Luke's life realize their responsibility to honor Christ in how they help to raise our precious little man. We are very thankful to have that support.
We had a wonderful day today. I was so happy that John Luke was well enough to be a part of the dedication service. I must say I thought he was so very handsome in his little outfit. I guess he takes after his handsome daddy!

Fun On The Farm
"Let's go Aunt Amy!" "What are we waiting on?"
John Luke and Brad. (Please forgive the ugly sweatshirt.)
John Luke and Mama.
Mama is trying to get a kiss!
Today Aunt Amy, Aunt Kimberly, and Brad all came over to "play" with sweet man. Since it was so nice outside they rode on the Ranger. John Luke loves to ride on the Ranger and now he thinks he is supposed to drive. I think Aunt Amy had as much fun on the Ranger as John Luke!
Also, just so you know, Brad is not making any rude gestures in the picture with he and John Luke. It is totally innocent. I didn't even notice it when I was taking the picture. We were all too busy trying to get John Luke to look at the camera! Just wanted to clear up any questions!

Grandpa's Birthday
Kisses...
And more kisses!
Uncle Brian and Mama.
Daddy (or Grandpa) had his 53rd birthday on Jan. 10. We had a little "birthday party" for him tonight at Pizza Hut. All the children and Brad (who is pratically the adopted child),were there to celebrate. Ofcourse the star of the show was there to entertain! As you can see, he is the sweetest little man. He is so loveable!

He has a little sand on his hands...
Forget about the sand; I see somebody.

Feeling Better!
We're Back! It seems like forever since I got to post any new pictures. Shonna, this is just for you. You can check our blog and not be disappointed. We have something new!
It has been a very long week. John Luke has had RSV but is feeling much better. Thank God! I am a firm believer in Prayer and Pedialyte! Friday, Dr. Baldwin told me that fluids were the key to getting well so I have been filling him up with some Pedialyte. He has also had many people praying for him. He has made a great improvement since Friday. He is actually laughing and acting more like himself. This afternoon his Grammie and Papa came over to visit and he played and played. He loves to have an audience! I am so thankful that he has made such a turn around. Thank you all for your prayers!!
