Friendly Little Visitor

This slimey little guy appeared in our yard today and this is what John Luke did...

This is when he first turned and noticed the turtle. As you can see he threw his juice down and said "OOOOHHHHH!"

That last picture is making me nervous. Get that baby away from that nasty thing. He may have diseases or something. Plus sometimes those things bite!!!!

That is fun! I know he loved it! Remind me to tell you about the time I almost got my finger bitten off by a similar-looking turtle though! I bought Sawyer a bug box the other day, but I don't think that big ol' turtle would quite fit inside. If you're interested, they're $2 at Dollar General! Cute too!

It is soooo fun to watch their reaction to something that isn't that is new to them. John Parker needs to come and visit with John Luke. John Parker's favorite activity is to catch the green lizards and grasshoppers and carry them around as if they are "best buds"!!! What nature boys we have!!! Jeremy and I tease with one another about John Parker being the next "Steve Irwin". He isn't afraid of the creatures!! It looks like John Luke isn't either. :)
