Happy 4th of July!!!
"Need a Ride?" {John Luke and Caroline}
Max, the playful dog.
Sweet, Sweet Girls! {Catherine and Gracie Burgess}
{Shonna, Caroline, Me & John Luke, Michelle & Emmie, Christy, Gracie, & Catherine}
Today I had the pleasure of visiting with some "old" friends from highschool and college. Actually, we go back further than that...as far back as I can remember. I have not seen two of these girls in years. A few months ago we all got back in touch with each other through our blogs and e-mail. Christy {Christy Hinson Burgess} and Michelle {Michelle Dubose Hunter} were coming home to visit so we decided it would be a perfect time to get together. Me and John Luke and Shonna and Caroline met the other girls at Nikki's house {Michelle's sister...Thanks Nikki, for sharing your home}. The kids had a great time playing and I had a wonderful time catching up. Thanks girls for fantastic food and fun! Hopefully we'll see each other again before another 5 or 10 years! Good Luck Michelle on the baby and Christy your girls are precious!
Then tonight John and I took John Luke to the fireworks display.
Papa and Granny dressed in their patriotic colors.
This is how John Luke looked about 1/2 way through the fireworks show. {Result of NO nap!}
Happy 4th of July! Happy Birthday Michelle! {July 5th}

How much fun!!!! I am glad that yal'll were able to get together. Tell Michelle I said congratulations on her exciting baby news! Christy's little girls are sooo cute!! Catherine looks like the Hinson family, and Gracie has the Burgess in her! :) I hope you are doing well. We just got back from the beach and I hope to post pics ASAP! Love you!
I had a really good time too!!! You know I do just live down the road from you...HAHAHA!
Catching up is always so much fun. I just tracked down my best friend from high school and it was good just to hear her voice. It's really hard to imagine all of you now grown, married and having babies. Before you know it, you'll be telling each other tales of your granchildren!
We had a great time! I was so glad to catch up with the two of you. We definitely need to do this more often!
