John and daddy have been working to get the fields ready for dove season for the past couple of weeks. Mine and John Luke's job has been to drive John around the field on the Ranger so he could put out wheat seed. Today we had the pleasure of having Aunt Kimberly with us.

Thinking...

Lucky loves to run right up to the cows and bark at them. For some reason she only does it when somebody is watching her. I guess she's showing out for us.

"John Luck"-- One of John Luke's cows. {Papa tagged this one.}

Mama and John Luke are scoping out the cows. John Luke is getting a good look...

He doesn't like the fact that mama is holding onto his arm...

I agree with Shonna about those "hanging" out days. They truly are the best.

The last picture of John Luke with your mama holding on to his arm reminds me of something that John Parker would do. He can't stand be restrained!! :)

I didn't know that John had cows! :)

COME AND SEE US! :)

I hate I missed all of the action this afternoon! I heard everybody was at your house! Nobody told me it was "gather over at Beth's house" day! I was at home cooking supper so Brian had a nice hot chicken and dumplin meal when he got home, which he can hardly ever eat without talking about you getting the the pot of dumplins on the way home that time when you were little! Dumplins seem to always bring that memory to mind...and it looks like that's what you guys made today, some more memories :-) the best days of our lives!
Love,
Dawn

I'm sorry you missed the fun! I don't think we planned to all get together, it just happened that way.

While we were looking at the cows and spreading wheat seed, Brian, Brad, and Lizzy were on the 4-Wheeler looking for rabbits! That was a sight!

I sure would like some chicken and dumplings~

Do you ever have problems with pictures disappearing off your blog page, like the one behind the title? I have spent alot of time reinstalling pictures that shouldn't go away. If there is a fix to this please let me know.
